CD&R believes that investing in future generations is one of the best ways to support sustainable long-term economic success.

The Joseph L. Rice, III Faculty Fellowship Fund was established at Harvard Business School in 2012 in honor of Mr. Rice’s extraordinary leadership qualities and unswerving commitment to integrity throughout his professional career. The fund supports a professorship focused on values and integrity in business.

The Clayton, Dubilier & Rice Fund for Entrepreneurial Studies was established at Harvard Business School in 1995 to support entrepreneurs attempting to build something innovative and new that advances business and society in revolutionary ways. The fund supports the Dubilier Prize, which is awarded each year to the winner of the school’s New Venture Competition.
